Ere Perez Makeup Review

I’m always on the lookout for natural, cruelty free, vegan makeup – so when I spottedEre Perez at the Naturally Australia Wellness Day in Sydney I just had to try it out! Luckily the lovely people at Ere Perez offered me some vegan goodies to try out…

Ere Perez Natural Cosmetics is Australian owned, natural non-toxic make up with ingredients such as oils, plant extracts and minerals and many of their products are also vegan. The products I receive to review were the oat milk liquid foundation, rice powder blush, vanilla highlighter and macadamia lipstick.

Oatmilk Foundation (Light-Medium) Review

ere perez foundation review

I tend to be pretty low maintenance when it comes to my make-up and during the work week would prefer to wear a tinted moisturiser, BB cream or a light brush of powder mineral makeup rather than a liquid foundation.

In saying that, the first day I applied this oat milk foundation I loved the look of it so much I’ve been wearing it whenever I have enough time to spend a bit more on my daily makeup. Going on, and a few minutes after applying, the foundation feels, not quite sticky, but… different than any other liquid I have tried. It’s not a bad feeling, but just makes you aware that it’s there, and I’m assuming it’s because it’s missing the chemical ingredients that others have. After this initial feeling though the foundation sets so beautifully, and stays that way for the rest of the day!

I decided to lend this foundation to a friend to try out and she had the exact same comments. She went out the very next day to buy it!

Rice Powder My Blush Review

ere perez blush reviewWhen I first laid eyes on this blush I thought it would be much to dark for my pale honky skin, but on top of the Oatmilk Foundation this looks absolutely divine! It gives my skin a lovely colour – I don’t quite want to say ‘bronzed’ since it doesn’t look like I’m attempting a tan – just a lively healthy glow.

Vanilla Highlighter Review

Yum yum yummy yum! This highlighter smells absolutely divine – I could almost eat it! As I said, I am pretty low maintenance when it comes to my makeup so this is definitely not a daily use item for me, but looks lovely on the brow and cheek bones when I’m going out at night and making an effort with eye makeup.

Moisturising Macadamia Lip Colour Review

ere perez lipstick review

This lip colour is designed to suit fair skin types – and it certainly does. When I opened my goodies from Ere Perez this is the first thing I tried – and got immediate compliments on it suiting me.

While I really love the colour, and it feels moisturising once on, the lipstick feels quite hard to apply. Like the foundation it feels quite different to other lipsticks, and again I assume this is because of absent chemicals!

Wearing Ere Perez foundation, blush and lip colour

All in all, I loved the natural look, colours and non-toxic benefits of the Ere Perez range I tried and would definitely recommend them to those looking for a new cruelty-free, vegan range. Just note not all products are vegan but they will let you know which ones are available. You can check them out, order online or find stockists at

While financial compensation was not received for this post. A sample product was gifted to me from Ere Perez, however opinions expressed here are my own.
